Teen Marijuana Use Associated with Higher Depression Risk

There could be a high (37%) increase in the risk that depression will be developed in young adulthood, up to 32 years of age. This also could cause a greater risk of suicide, even considering the persons existing mental health. The study did not show any link between marijuana use and future anxiety issues.

CBD Growth Expected to Reach Billions

Analysts at Cowen (the investment bank) featured CBD, a hemp and marijuana compound, as an immense opportunity for growth, in a most recent report.
They estimated that CBD in the US market would skyrocket from about $1 billion to $16 billion by the year 2025. Even though there needs to be more science in relation to CBD's therapeutic benefits and The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has only approved CBD-based drug that's used to treat rare forms of epilepsy, Epidiolex.
