What is Full-Spectrum CBD Extract?
When you research CBD products you are going to find some of them are made with what's called full-spectrum CBD, but what does that mean?
The most wholesome CBD product is a full-spectrum CBD extract and it is not at all synthetic. The extract is taken from the entire hemp plant and none of it has been lab created to mimic cannabidiol.
When creating isolates they typically use extraction methods that involve using toxic chemicals such as acetone or butane. Keeping the hemp plant in as natural of a state as possible helps create full-spectrum products.
With full-spectrum products, all the good nutritive compounds of the hemp plant are distilled into a potent, pure extract. Doing it this way will not use any harsh chemical processes that extract only the cannabidiol/CBD, but will preserve the entire range of components that are naturally present in hemp giving you full-spectrum CBD that includes:
- More than 85 cannabinoids
- Over 500 phytonutrients
- Essential oils
The Full-Spectrum Effect
If you have a full spectrum of terpenes, cannabinoids, essential oils, and flavonoids, the sum of all these parts are greater than the whole. Combining all these components creates a harmony that can't and doesn't exist in an isolate or synthetic CBD.
Extracting all the compounds from hemp will unlock vastly improved and balanced results for a more natural cannabinoid experience. Picture each of the components of full-spectrum CBD as an orchestra, each instrument is great and has a role of its own but when you put all the instruments together, that's when the real music happens.
The compounds in full-spectrum not only play well together; they become a symphony, harmonizing in ways that each component would not be able to do on its own.
Since the beginning of humankind, hemp has been a remarkable source for nutrition. From seeds to roots to leaves, hemp helped to nourished our ancestors just as it continues to help nourish us. Our human bodies relate best to the plant extracts that contain the full spectrum of nutrients, more than a synthetic or an isolate.
