WHO Recommends Removing Hemp CBD from International Control

The WHO, World Health Organization, Expert Committee on Drug Dependence (ECDD) released, on January 31, 2019, exciting new proposals for CBD: particularly, that any CBD hemp product with less than 0.2% of THC should be 100% removed from international control.

State Medical Marijuana Laws 2019

A total of 33 states, the District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico have approved a comprehensive public medical marijuana/cannabis programs. (See Table 1 below for more info.) Approved efforts in 13 states allow use of "low THC, high cannabidiol (CBD)" products for medical reasons in limited situations or as a legal defense.

Farm Bill 2018: An Overwhelming Victory for Hemp

Today, the President signed the 2018 Farm Bill into law after it passed the US House of Representatives in an overwhelming landslide on Dec. 12, 2018. The final House vote in favor of hemp was 369-47.
Products derived from industrial hemp, including hemp CBD extract, will now be easier for consumers to locate and purchase.
